Nine pianos, each one decorated by a different local artist, magically appeared on Santa Barbara's State Street this week. Here, the Santa Barbara Bowl's Graham Farrar lets us in on the magic.

About SB Bowl: Constructed in 1936, the Santa Barbara Bowl is a 4,500-seat amphitheater, located in Santa Barbara County, California and hosts an average of 30 concerts from April through October.
Striving to be one of the leading outdoor performing arts venues in the country, the not-for-profit SB Bowl Foundation focusses on achieving success by fulfilling these initatives: Facility Enhancement, Performance Diversity and Performing Arts Outreach.
The Bowl has undergone over $40 million in renovations since the establishment of the Foundation in 1991 making it possible to house larger performances and touring acts in the outdoor venue. The Santa Barbara Bowl is open for concerts from April through October with an average of about 27 concerts per season. The Bowl hosts many types of musicians, including hip hop, latin, rock, jazz, electronica, reggae and more!
