The Santa Barbara Bowl is dedicated to increasing access to music education and knows that lack of funding for instruments can be a barrier to interested students. The Instrument Fund was created in direct response to the many recurring needs of local schools and arts education programs. Instrument Funding is available for repair and purchase of instruments, music equipment, and accessories.

Application Requirements:

• Programs must serve Santa Barbara youth in grades K-12 and provide instrument instruction by dedicated music teachers.
• Programs must provide adequate storage, management and care of instruments.
• Applicants must be a non-profit organization with tax-exempt status [501(c)(3)]; or individual artist; or have a fiscal sponsor that is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.
