SANTA BARBARA BOWL
New Noise Music Foundation is one of the best things to happen to Santa Barbara’s music and culture scene. The foundation creates concerts, workshops, and volunteer/mentoring programs for all ages in the Santa Barbara area. New Noise hosts an annual Music Conference and Festival, which is now on the verge of celebrating its sixth year this coming fall. Co-founder Jeff Theimer sat down with Santa Barbara Independent to discuss his life with New Noise, music, achievements, and his rewarding passion. According to Jeff’s perspective, “I just do it cause I love it”, he never really considered what he does as a career. He also states, “Working with creative and industrious people doing community projects is never not fun”. With that being said, he respects the quality of passion in people and considers New Noise Music Foundation (newnoisesb.org) his greatest achievement.
