With the release of a new song, “Fragments,” and a short documentary, “The Smog of the Sea,” Johnson speaks to his environmental activism in an interview with Rolling Stone. He mentions the importance of reducing single-use plastic during a show and refers to the My Pint and Me program at SB Bowl as an example of ways to actively reduce.
“And after a show, I look out and see a sea of plastic – the industry I’m part of is contributing in a major way to this problem. I feel a responsibility.”
