How to Donate
Santa Barbara Symphony’s New Year’s Eve PopsConcert, December 31st, noon -7pm
Announcing the return of a unique collaboration between local non-profits, Santa BarbaraEducation Foundation, Santa Barbara Symphony, Santa Barbara Bowl Education Outreach, Jurkowitz Center for Arts Education at the Granada Theatre, New Noise Music Foundation, State Street Ballet and Notes for Notes, which will provide local school-age students the means to make some wonderful music. Last year’s drive brought in over 80 musical instruments and various pieces of equipment with an estimated value of over $12,500.
2009’s instruments and equipment made a major impact in the local schools and arts organizations helping to expand Music and Performing Arts experiences throughout the community.
The instruments will be tracked “adoption style” as every organization will be asked to supply donors with information on how each instrument used to further someone’s musical experience.
