2014 was a big year for the Santa Barbara Youth Music Academy. In December, the Santa Barbara Bowl was excited to donate $2,500 from Education Outreach Funds to help this beloved program. 

Around the same time, the Young Professionals Club recognized the Santa Barbara Youth Music Academy as their Nonprofit of the Year resulting in increased recognition, support and a donation.

These funds will be used to support their innovative after-school programs as well as its Young Musicians Scholarship fund. “Since 2011, the Young Musicians Scholarship Fund has provided full or partial scholarships to music students whose families are experiencing financial hardship. This fund is critical for SBYMA to continue to grant scholarships and musical performance opportunities to underprivileged youth in the Santa Barbara community.”
