Santa Barbara Bowl is proud to be the presenting sponsor for Pianos On State's 14th year!

Pianos on State has just announced the artists' list for 2023! The Bowl congratulates all selected artists and can't wait to see the unique masterpieces they will create!

Pianos on State is an interactive public art and music experience that takes place each October and is celebrating its 14th year of public art and music installation on State Street. Each year, local artists paint and transform pianos into their own unique vision.

Starting in October, you can find these uniquely painted pianos throughout Santa Barbara for anyone and everyone to play and enjoy. Introducing music and art into everyday life!  

This year, the pianos will be displayed from October 3rd to October 23rd. Stay tuned for scheduled pop-up performances by local artists and organizations.
