Nederlander has recently teamed up with AEG live to procure future management rights to the iconic Greek Theater. Ticketmaster/Live Nation displayed interest in taking over the management of the theater spurring Nederland to team up with AEG and protect their current rights to operate the Greek Theater. Nederlander and AEG have succeeded in gaining over 12,000 signatures within 24 hours for a grass roots petition supporting the bid to continue their management of the theater. With the wholehearted support of the community, Nederlander created the website WeAReTheGreek.com in order to supply information to the public about the current issues at hand as well as to update them on proposals and upcoming renovations. The Greek Theatre has received landmark status from the city of Los Angeles and has hosted some of the most memorable live performances in music history. According to the Greek Theatre's general manager, the theatre "is more than just a venue to us, and we have a vision for the future of the venue and hope to continue operating it for many years to come.” Nederlander Concerts also promote and provide live entertainment across the west including the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles and the Santa Barbara Bowl!
