Remember when the New York Philharmonic came all the way to California and graced the Bowl with its presence in August of 2015? Here's a couple of photos just sent to us by Music Academy of the West and photographer Chris Lee.

Directed by Alan Gilbert and a wonderful presentation by Music Academy of the West, the show included Aaron Copland’s epic masterpieceAppalachian Spring, with its inspiring Shaker melody, “’Tis the Gift to be Simple,” and Leonard Bernstein’s belovedWest Side Story with soprano Julia Bullock and tenor Benjamin Bliss.
