Attention Santa Barbara County High Schools!
Santa Barbara Bowl Outreach is thrilled to announce the launch of the High School Band Fund, a new grant opportunity from the Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation designed to strengthen and sustain instrumental music education in high schools across our county.
Through Bowl Outreach, this fund reduces financial barriers and keeps music education accessible for high school students.
Funding may support:
• Artist workshops & residencies
• Curriculum development & classroom tech
• Student scholarships
• Supplemental instruction & staffing
• Festival, competition & travel costs
Application Timeline
• Applications will be open February 10–27, 2026
• Awards announced mid-April
• Funding supports the 2026–2027 school year
Eligibility Highlights
• In-school high school instrumental music programs in Santa Barbara County
• First-time applicants attend a short Zoom training prior to applying
• Band Fund recipients are not eligible for Spring or Fall Cycle grants
