The SB Independent discusses with Sugarland how the duo took five years apart from one another to work on their solo careers and separate personal lives. Despite the fear instilled in many country fans that the duo would not reunite, the two came back together once again in 2017. Sugarland’s newest album Bigger was recently released on June 8, just in time for the kickoff of their Still the Same tour. Both band members Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles created successful solo albums during their time apart, Bush also went on to write a musical while Nettles started a family. Bush claims that the time apart made the band even stronger once reunited.
