SANTA BARBARA BOWL
We would like to welcome our friends Kori Soltz and Mario Garcia to the Santa Barbara Bowl team as our most recent full-time members!
Although they have both been with us for many seasons, Mario is entering his fourth season and Kori her thirteenth, we are proud to announce that they will now be with us all year round!
Mario is taking on the role of full-time member of the Facilities team. According to Mario he is a “high-energy, people person” and a self-proclaimed “Jack of all trades.” With his previous experience operating heavy machinery, he is a perfect addition to the Facilities crew. Heavy lifting, cleaning, and fixing any and everything, will all be ways in which he helps to keep the Bowl in tip-top shape year round. Mario is excited for this upcoming concert season and is looking forward to the “Flight of The Conchords” show.
Kori is thrilled to be taking on the role of Food and Beverage Manger. Her love of this industry stems from working with her Dad, who is a chef and had his own catering business, at a very young age. There were several instances in her adolescence in which she knew “she was born to do this.”
Kori feels very empowered by her new title and is ready to implement her “feisty, fun, firm, and fair” management style at the Bowl this season. She is most excited “for the changes that bring out the best (and sometimes worst) in our staff that will continue to make the Santa Barbara Bowl one of the best concert venues in the world!”
With the 2016 concert season fast-approaching, we are glad to have both Mario and Kori around to get ready for what is sure to be one of the best seasons yet!
It is our hope that their full-time presence will not only help facilitate better concerts, but will help to facilitate a better overall Bowl experience for you! Next time you’re at a show, make sure to stop by and say hello!
