Singer/ songwriter Jason Paras just released his debut EP Steel Jungle and has dedicated it to the importance of not giving up on big dreams and remembering that anything is possible. It is apparent that Paras believes strongly in this idea because he has been following his childhood dream of musical stardom since he picked up a guitar the age of 6. Now at the age of 18, he has already performed in front of sold-out venues, opened for acts like Styx and Don Felder, and now has recorded an EP with eight-time award winning composer Adam Zelkind (who has worked with artists such as Sugarland and Tim McGraw. Last year, Chris Daniels, member of the Blues Hall of Fame, stated that Paras was “one of the best new young songwriters of his generation.”
Throughout his success, Paras finds the time to get involved in charities such as Hands4Others. On April 17, he threw an EP release party and donated the proceeds to this organization, which encourages the youth to step up and help solve the world’s water crisis. Para affiliates so closely to Hands4Others because they both carry the same message: that anything is possible.
We are proud to have artists such as Jason Paras perform at the Bowl, like he did in 2014 alongside Foreigner. Make sure to check out upcoming SB Bowl concerts to watch great artists perform live!
