This week’s SB Bowl Outreach highlight is Police Activities League (PAL)!
PAL is an amazing local organizations that works to build positive relationships between youth, the police department, and the community of Santa Barbara. They do so by offering developmental programs in education, athletics, leadership, dance, and music programs!
Many of the programs are put on at the PAL Twelve35 teen center, a safe after school center for ages 13-19.
Through a partnership with Musicology, PAL is able to offer music lessons in guitar, violin, keyboard, ukulele, and voice, free of charge!
The programs offered create positive mentorship relationships, and provide youth with direction and the opportunity to focus on becoming more productive citizens.
The Bowl is proud to support organizations that provide opportunities in the arts to all, regardless of financial or personal hardships.
