13-time Grammy winner, Emmylou Harris’ contribution as a singer and songwriter spans 40 years and more than 25 albums. She has trail-blazed what it means to me an an American artist. A longtime social activist, Harris has lent her powerful voice to many causes. She has defined what a female artist is and has pushed social conventions of feminism with grace and her own brand of political awareness.
