During Foreigner, Styx, and Don Felder’s ‘Soundtrack of Summer’ tour a fire engulfed a pair of the bands’ tour buses. No one was injured in the fire, but now the musicians are giving back through donations to those who helped extinguish the flames. The quick response from the Philadelphia fire department made a remarkable difference in stopping the fire which saved the tour to continue with the rest of the shows on July 3rd. The proceeds from the sale of ’The Soundtrack of Summer’ CDs from the subsequent July 3rd concert in Camden, New Jersey will be donated to the Philadelphia Fire Department on behalf of Foreigner and charity Rock to the Rescue formed by Styx and REO Speedwagon.
