📣 Announcing the 2026 Santa Barbara Bowl Performing Arts Teacher of the Year!
The @sbbowl is delighted to announce Sara Di Salvo, music and drama teacher at Cold Spring School, as the 2026 Santa Barbara Bowl Performing Arts Teacher of the Year!
Nominators shared that Di Salvo “seamlessly integrates music with core academics” – bringing creativity, joy, and connection to her classroom.
“Sara’s dedication to empowering students through the performing arts is exactly why this award exists,” said Rick Boller, CEO of the Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation. “We’re proud to partner with SBCEO and inspired to support arts education and uplift educators through the Bowl’s Outreach program.”
Now in its 10th year, the @SBBowl Performing Arts Teacher of the Year Award, presented in partnership with the @sbcountyeduoffice Teachers Network, recognizes an exemplary performing arts teacher annually.
Through Outreach initiatives, the Bowl provides instrument funding, grant opportunities, subsidized tickets, and sponsorships so that K-12 students in Santa Barbara County receive performing arts education and experiences.
