Celebrating a current total of $6,837,409, the Campaign Cabinet continues to be awestruck by the generosity of campaign donors. The Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation gratefully acknowledges the following donors who have made contributions of $500 and above to this final campaign phase of the $22,000,000 Master Plan for the renovation and restoration of the Santa Barbara Bowl. These donors help make construction efforts a reality as we move forward to raise the remainder of the $12,000,000, which currently totals $5,162,591, by December 31, 2006 and begin construction on the first priority, The Pavilion, this Fall. The Campaign Cabinet’s immediate goal is to raise an additional $2,000,000 by June 30, 2006. To learn more about how you can help the American Classic Campaign, please contact Beth Dolinsek, Capital Campaign Administrator, at (805) 962-7411 ext. 15 or beth@sbbowl.com.

The Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation depends mightily on its dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers for the success of the concert seasons. The Board of Directors and Staff would like to thank the volunteers who give time and energy to the Bowl by highlighting our friends in the Volunteer Spotlight.
How old were you when you first came to the Santa Barbara Bowl?We were both about 23.
What was your first concert at the Bowl?It was either Santana or the Marshall Tucker Band.
What first drew you to volunteer at the Bowl?We liked the outdoor venue and have always enjoyed the music and the people. When our kids started coming to concerts, we could keep an eye on them and then, when they got old enough, they joined us as ushers.
Do you volunteer for any other non-profits?We like to volunteer at schools, church, different beach clean-up type events and the all-saints choir.
What do you do for a living?Greg is a postal area maintenance technician. Roslyn is a registered nurse.Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation’s Education Outreach ProgramEducation Outreach EndowmentThe Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation Education Outreach Program supports music and performing arts education in the community. Reaching approximately 15,000 Santa Barbaraarea students each year, the Education Outreach Program, led by Bowl Board members and other volunteers, funds performances by world class artists. The endowment component of the American Classic campaign is designed to provide a predictable cash fl ow to the Education Outreach Program. Currently, the primary fi nancial support for the Education Outreach Program is comprised of $ .25 of each ticket sold, restricted private donations, and proceeds from Bowl Foundation fund-raising events and special events.
