SANTA BARBARA BOWL
Hello SBBowl friends and family,
Do you have a favorite experience at the Santa Barbara Bowl you can share? The Indy is writing a story memorializing the community’s favorite Bowl moments.
Santa Barbara Bowl is currently experiencing an operational shortfall due to the unprecedented COVID-19 crisis. Our current goal is to raise $612k to keep your favorite venue concert ready while our stage remains dark. To date we have raised over $135,000 toward our goal. Still, the Bowl staff is working diligently to raise the remaining shortfall.
Santa Barbara Independent news Senior Editor, Michelle Drown, is writing an article to shine a spotlight on the SBBowl:
“Although the Bowl has been shuttered this season, Santa Barbarans have plenty of memories to keep them going until next spring. The Indy would love to hear about your favorite Bowl musical experience. Send a 150-word (or fewer) blurb by Friday, August 7, 2020, telling us about it.”
