Arcade Fire has been covering region-specific songs in every city they have visited on their current tour. On August 4th Win Butler (frontman of Arcade Fire) came out wearing a Jerry Brown mask and opened the Arcade Fire set with “California Über Alles”, a Dead Kennedys song. The song was written in 1979 about the current governor Jerry Brown (who was also the governor when the song was written). Check out the video of Arcade Fire’s cover here:
