Investing in future artists and audiences
The Santa Barbara Bowl deeply values the performing arts and is dedicated to ensuring all students have access to arts education. The Bowl's Outreach program directly invests in youth performing arts opportunities in our community.
Through the Outreach initiatives, the Bowl provides instrument funding, grants opportunities, subsidized tickets and sponsorships so K-12 students in Santa Barbara County receive performing arts education and experiences.
A variety of support and resources are available for K-12 performing arts programs in Santa Barbara County. A summary and link for each program is below.
Please contact Lyndsay Cooke, outreach program manager, with additional questions.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We are really trying to add more arts teachers to our district and build our programs at the lower levels. As the recipient of your award this year [Santa Barbara Bowl Performing Arts Teacher of the Year], I feel a fire more than ever to advocate for more and use my platform this year to build more."
- Jennifer Peterson, Cabrillo High School Choir and Theatre
Thank you so much, her [Josie Coburn] band and music program grows by leaps and bounds and we cannot keep up with the instrument needs she has. So I can't thank you and Santa Barbara Bowl enough!
- Lee Ann Luongo, Orcutt Children's Art Foundation
Thank you for letting us have this amazing opportunity. We all enjoyed it so much and hope to have more experiences like this!
- Fatima - Student from AHA!
"The program has been more successful than ever! I currently have two student mentors teaching most of the kids along with myself. We are able to provide the program to those struggling financially thanks due in large part to your generosity. It’s a very diverse group which I love about music and how it brings all walks together. The successes are phenomenal."
