SANTA BARBARA BOWL
The Santa Barbara Bowl Education Outreach Program strives to provide the youth in the community with access to instruments through the Instrument Fund Program. When Lorrie (pictured above) learned what the Bowl was doing, she decided to donate her child’s old clarinet to the Instrument Fund. By working at the Bowl as an Event Staff Security team member she was able to witness the positive impact this program was having on the youth during the Lindsey Stirling concert last season. There was a booth set up with violins that were donated to the Instrument Fund that allowed kids to play while they were waiting for Stirling to hit the stage. This inspired her to inquire about the program, which lead to the eventual donation of the clarinet.
