SANTA BARBARA BOWL
This week’s SB Bowl Outreach highlight is Flamenco Santa Barbara!
Flamenco Santa Barbara is an organization that offers lessons and performance opportunities in Flamenco style dance to the youth of Santa Barbara. In total, there are over 300 Santa Barbara Flamenco students, spread throughout 5 studios around town.
Flamenco provides scholarships when needed to any child with a desire to learn and grow within Flamenco dance. Flamenco Santa Barbara also works to instill a sense of community, culture, pride, and self-discipline.
One of the most popular opportunities offered by this awesome organization is a permanent stage where students can perform during the Old Spanish Days Fiesta. They invite professional world-wide Flamenco dancers who dance alongside, teach, and mentor the children.
Flamenco Santa Barbara is a unique organization that works diligently to make dance available to all, and the Bowl proudly supports their efforts!
