20+ Stellar Shows, New Box Office, and Parking Updates
Open a Concert Season Not to Miss

The Santa Barbara Bowl opens its 2015 Concert Season this week with back-to-back concerts from two favorites, plus an enriched and entirely new concert-going experience. For 2015, the Bowl debuts the new Lower Plaza and Dreier Box Office, introduces more dining choices to feed pre-concert hunger, and updates transportation options including adjusted parking fees and private (and free) bike valet services… and more.

Something for Everyone

British indie band alt-J kicks off the season on Tuesday, April 14, followed by the legendary Steely Dan on Wednesday, April 15. That’s just the start: There’s something for every musical taste this year at the Bowl. Check out the Bowl’s 2015 concert calendar here.

While We Were Away

The Bowl has been hard at work behind the scenes making major improvements and enhancements to your concert experience. New updates for 2015 at the Bowl include:

Parking increased to $15

The parking fee for Bowl shows (in the Santa Barbara High School parking lot) has increased to $15. Due to a renegotiation by the Santa Barbara Unified School District and Santa Barbara High School, the Bowl fee change was necessary to meet the increased rent for parking lot use during concerts.

New Dreier Box Office

The Bowl’s Dreier Box Office is now open and fully operational. Named in honor of local philanthropists Chad and Ginni Dreier, the new lower plaza — which includes the box office and administration offices — features a new walkway, public restrooms, easier ingress and egress, and the place to pick up will call tickets, and purchase tickets for upcoming shows.

Ride Your Bike: Free Valet and New Entrance

Pay tribute to Mother Earth (Earth Day is April 22) by riding your bike to the Bowl. In partnership with BiciCentro, complimentary bike valet is located in its new and permanent location in front of the Guest Services building (the Bowl’s original box office).

New bike entrance: Bikes have their own private entrance on the far side of the Guest Services building.

Nom Nom: New Dining Options at the Bowl

A new season brings new delicacies for your pre-show grazing:

  • Kona Big Wave Golden Ale
  • Caribbean Coffee Ice Cold Tapped Coffee
  • Firestone DBA Bratwurst signature sandwich

Bowl’s Best Tips:

  • Bring your reusable Bowl pint for discounts on drinks
  • Arrive early. We recommend at least 90 minutes before the start of each show.
