SANTA BARBARA BOWL
The Bowl is proud to announce that our resident Green Expert: Eric Shiflett has been invited to be one of the panelists at New Noise Santa Barbara (www.newnoisesb.com), the Music Conference & Festival kicking off in Santa Barbara on October 8. The Green Concert panel will be on Friday, October 9 at 10am in the Riviera Room of the Canary Hotel in Downtown Santa Barbara. Experts will discuss how to put on events and concerts that are more environmentally responsible, with an eye on recycling, integration of non-profits, reducing carbon footprints and more. Other panelists will include Jamie Simon (director of sustainability, Red Bull North America), Jessica Scheeter (director, Johnson Ohana Charitable Trust), Ryan Mintz (founder, TheGreenMusician.com), Bob Hollis (president/CEO, Carnegie Partners), Chris Baumgartner (consultant, Music Matters) and moderator, Lara Pearson.
