Brits Robert “3D” Del Naja and Grant “Daddy G” Marshall, better known as Massive Attack, talk about their progress on their upcoming studio album amidst touring the summer festival circuit in Europe with a few headline shows. Expected on the album is a collaboration with Tricky as well as influences from old pop songs. Says Del Naja, “to be honest there’s a whole album of new material sitting in a studio at the moment which isn’t finished and hasn’t been played at all yet”. This will be their first album since Heligoland in 2010.
