Foster the People recently sat down with NME for an interview at Glastonbury, where they talk about new material they have been recording as well as collaborators they have been working with.
After releasing their sophomore album Supermodel earlier this year, the band (consisting of Mark Foster, Jacob Fink and Mark Pontius) has been touring the US since April and are currently in the middle of their world tour. They have also been recording in-between shows to stay creative and possibly start work on the next record. Most notably, the band mentions a collaboration with Amber Coffman of The Dirty Projectors, who they call one of their favorite artists.
In addition to Coffman, Foster says they have had artists coming through the studio in a “revolving door”-like fashion, with names such as Soko, Jena Malone and Night Beds. Check out the NME interview here.
The band will stop by the SB Bowl on November 15th as part of their world tour with special guests Sylvan Esso, grab tickets here.
