This year, SB Bowl was able to offer State Street Ballet a flash grant to help offset the cost of their "Stories that Move" program through our Education Outreach department.

On April 7, State Street Ballet will be putting on two free performances of Cinderella at the Granada Theater for young students in the Santa Barbara community.

"The goal of State Street Ballet’s “Stories that Move” program is to ensure that every student in Santa Barbara has the chance to experience live professional dance in the beautiful Granada Theater. By offering free tickets to every student grades four, five, and six, State Street Ballet hopes to equalize the arts experience, making dance accessible to everyone. Our goal is to bring students together to share a morning and connect on a level that is deeper than language, background, or financial status. We hope to expose students who might never see professional dance to a beautiful performance, and inspire our future artists, art-lovers, and arts supporters." -Outreach Coordinator, Cecily Stewart

Help us continue to grow youth arts organizations and performances in our community by donating today.
