Rusty's Pizza is a longtime Santa Barbara County favorite. With its 1969 inception in Isla Vista, Rusty's Pizza has expanded to six locations within the county that strive, not only, "to be the BEST pizza with the BEST service," but to be active members benefiting the community as well. "Since its beginning, Rusty's Pizza has been involved in the community with a strong emphasis on children through school programs, youth organizations and a number of community engagement projects." The commitment to community engagement coupled with their pursuit of quality pizza and service is why SB Bowl has been proud to partner with Rusty's over the years. Rusty's Pizza is a staple on the SB Bowl Concessions Menu and they have even helped us develop a delivery system that eliminates cardboard from our waste stream. In 2015, Rusty's was able to help us innovate a re-usable tray delivery system that would no longer require the use of cardboard pizza boxes, helping us to divert more waste from our landfill.

Aside from striving for quality amongst their products, service, and community outreach, Rusty's also has a unique, down-home, culture that has been palpable over the years. Their dedication to maintaining this culture can be seen in how they are portrayed in the media and in their historical archives on their website.
