This week, the Bowl's Outreach grant highlight is Boxtales Theatre Company

Boxtales is an incredible organization that brings a creative, educational twist to children in grades 4-6. They share myths and folktales with students in the form of performing arts; equipped with masks, costumes, music, and storytelling. Boxtales performs at student assemblies and involves the audience in each and every show, they work to inspire imagination, strengthen cultural pride, and inspire creativity!

Although Boxtales was created in Santa Barbara, their unique approach on learning has provided them with the opportunity to tour the country and perform at world renowned local venues including the Getty Center, Museum of Tolerance, The John Anson Ford Amphitheatre, and Geffen Playhouse. How lucky are the students of Santa Barbara to be given the chance to see them in action in their own schools?

SB Bowl is honored to be able to support an organization that provides such awesome creative opportunities to the children of Santa Barbara.
