Rise Against

Rise Against – comprising Tim McIlrath (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Joe Principe (bass), Zach Blair (lead guitar), and Brandon Barnes (drums) – recently wrapped up a tour of Australia and New Zealand and will embark on a European run in June.

The band won acclaim for its hard-hitting 2017 performances in support of its eighth studio album, WOLVES. Illinois Entertainer said, “the return of Rise Against feels more timely than ever.”Houston Press observed, “If any rock band could convince their fans to not bury their heads in the sand in 2017 America, it might just be Rise Against.”

WOLVES (Virgin Records) debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative, Top Rock and Hard Rock albums charts. Lead single“The Violence”topped the Mediabase Active Rock chart and the follow-up track, “House On Fire,” is currently in the Top 10 and climbing.

AFI is touring in support of their critically acclaimed latest release, AFI (The Blood Album) (Concord), which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative and Hard Rock Albums Charts and No. 5 on The Billboard 200.

It’s the band’s second consecutive Top 10 Billboard debut following 2013’s Burials.

Alternative Press and Q gave AFI (The Blood Album) 4 stars each, AV Club said it sounded like the band are “as fired up now as they were 25 years ago,” People magazine made it a Pick of the Week, Kerrang called it a “serious contender” for the Best Albums of The Year, The 405 praised it as “their strongest album in a decade” and ABC News gave it 3.5 stars and described it as “a dynamic record that should please both old and new fans of the band.” Among the album’s many highlights is “Aurelia,” which can be viewed HERE.

Since the release of 1995’s debut album Answer That and Stay Fashionable, AFI (vocalist Davey Havok, guitarist Jade Puget, bassist Hunter Burgan and drummer Adam Carson) has written and recorded five top ten hit singles, hit No. 1 on The Billboard 200 (with the stunning Decemberunderground), garnered worldwide critical acclaim and amassed a fiercely loyal global following whose members number in the millions.
