Here comes the sun - Multi-phase solar project! 

As part of the Bowl's on-going efforts towards decreasing concert impact, the Board of Directors has approved a major capital improvement.

• Phase 1 - Scranton Overlook
  
  • 69 new 360-Watt photovoltaic panels
  • 2 inverters
• Phase 2 - Spotlight Platform (Spotworld)
  • Replace current system
  • 39 new 360-Watt photovoltaic panels
  • 1 inverter

Both systems will feed into two of the Bowl's three electrical meters and create approximately 30% of the annual electrical consumption.  The Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation is committed to continuing this multi-phase project to reach a 100% off-set goal for annual consumption.
